Roborock S6 Pure Robot Vacuum Cleaner Review

The beginning of 2020 was marked by the release of a new model, consonant with the Roborock S6. The addition of the Pure prefix suggests that we have a stripped-down version of the device. What features have been removed and how it affected the work of the Roborock S6 Pure, we will find out in the review.

What happened to the Roborock S6 Pure bundle?

First of all, the changes affected the configuration, which is inferior to the flagship kit released in 2019, representing a more meager version. When buying S6 Pure, you get: a device, a charging base and a stand for it, a water tank, a microfiber cloth in a single copy, four additional liquid dispensers.

On the body is a lidar that performs a navigation function. The appearance of the LDS has not changed, but a button has appeared that helps the vacuum cleaner avoid getting stuck under furniture. The panel of three buttons has been reduced to two: the first activates the vacuum cleaner, the second returns it to the station. The designers decided to brand the Roborock S6 Pure and added a logo to the white plastic case.

Inside there is a dust collection tank, as well as a special device in the form of a small brush that cleans the dust collector. Its capacity has undergone changes and has decreased by 20 ml. At the same time, the volume of the water reservoir increased. The HEPA filter is also used in the new model, which saves the user’s effort and time. The filter is washed once a week under running water.

The novelty demonstrates the silicone version of the side brush, which now has not three, but as many as five beams. This will help to better capture debris from the floor. The central brush, like the Roborock S6, is disassembled for replacement and cleaning. By the way, the density of her bristles has become higher by as much as 450%.
