When selecting models, I paid attention to such characteristics as video resolution, viewing angle, video quality at night and during the day, the ability to control through the application, the presence of a screen, and the method of attachment. And in order to be as objective as possible and identify the pros and cons of each model, I studied customer reviews and expert reviews.

And I’ll start with T.Eyes X5. The DVR is equipped with a six-lens lens with an aperture of 1.6, provides high light transmission, i.e. night shooting is bright and clear. At the same time, the body fixed on the car remains stationary, and the camera in it rotates around its axis, i.e., it is not necessary to remove the camera to change the viewing position. Aperture 1.8 provides a clear image.

The camera supports wi-fi. You can use the app to view live video. In it, you can also share your videos, send them for saving to various devices. The model is equipped with a sensor that can turn on the camera when vibrations occur while parking, which will help create a short 20-second recording. In second place is 70mai Dash Cam Pro Plus A500s. This is a small model with excellent stuffing – Sony IMX 335 processor, GPS, G-sensor, Wi-Fi. But in order to implement the function of round-the-clock control, you need to connect to the battery, for which you will need to purchase the appropriate kit. In the application, you can save records, manage them, view video from the recorder in real time. All emergency videos are placed in a separate log and are blocked from deletion. Such files will also remain on the memory card, even if it is full. In this case, old files are overwritten.

The price is 5,500 rubles. Compared to the previous model, there is no 4K here, but due to the excellent equipment and video processing with special technologies, it creates fairly clear images on which it is easy to see the license plate of a car. The model has all the advantages of previous models and is equipped with the ADAS security system and voice prompts.

And the leader of my TOP was another model of the same manufacturer of lower cost – 70mai DashCam 1S. Simple 130˚ camcorder with 1080P Full HD resolution. It is equipped with a Sony IMX 307 sensor, so it creates clear video even at night by reducing light transmittance and reflectivity. The model has a shock sensor that activates collision recording and saves video.

As with most models, automatic loop recording is provided. That is, new files are overwritten on top of old ones when the memory is full. Files are saved to an SD/MMC card of class 10 or higher. Atmanagement takes place in the application with which the registrar communicates via Wi-Fi. Here you can enable live view from the camera, view saved recordings, change settings, etc. There is also voice control, but only in English.

Given the price, the model is expectedly not equipped with a screen and does not have a parking mode, but this is perhaps the only thing in which it is inferior to more expensive counterparts. Since it has good equipment for creating high-quality, clear videos with the ability to control through the application and has a shock sensor for recording emergency situations. This model is optimal in terms of price-quality ratio, according to most users.
